My Set Up
My set up consists of 2 sheds and 9 outdoor hutches in a covered rabbit area. In shed one I have got 14 hutches and in the second shed I have 15 hutches (with space for 2 more soon to be built). All our hutches have been built by us and I owe massive thanks to my wonderful husband who has patiently worked very hard to get my set up to how it is now. I wouldn't have any of it without him!!
All my mini rex live in 4 foot hutches and I have a couple of larger hutches for does who have large litters.
My sheds are completely insulated on the roof and walls to keep the heat in during winter and out during summer. I heat my sheds in the very cold weather, so no bunny has to cope with freezing temperatures (and neither do I when I'm cleaning out!!). In summer I have the freezer packed full of ice blocks for those very hot days, the bunnies love to lay next to them when its really hot, and fans are at the ready to help cool the sheds. Both sheds have blinds at the windows so I can shade the inside of the sheds from the full sun.

All my rabbits are cleaned out at least every other day, hutches with mums and babies in get done every day. Rexes need their bedding 'fluffed up' daily to protect their feet so they all have this done daily.
My bunnies are fed twice a day. They have Dodson and Horrell pellets (measured out carefully) in the morning and evening, a small amount of fresh veg in the evening with their pellets and an endless supply of hay available 24/7.
They have all got toys and things to entertain them, ranging from jingly bell toys to cardboard tubes, pine cones and cardboard boxes.... they even like the odd flowerpot to toss about.
I try to get each bunny out for a run about the garden as often as possible. I love to see bunnies enjoying themselves, jumping and twisting in the air with happiness.
